Project Title: ZCharMC: Sequential Self-Supporting Zeolite-Activated Biochar Composite CO2 Capture and Conversion through Fluidized-bed Mineral Carbonation
Project Leader: Asst. Prof. Ralf Ruffel M. Abarca, Ph.D.
Duration: 12 of months or the specific duration
Salary:   â‚±43,350.00/month (March 1, 2026 – December 31, 2026), â‚±41,305.00/month (January 1, 2027 – February 28, 2027)
Tentative schedule of interview: February 27, 2026 (afternoon)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Science, Information Technology).
  • Strong written and verbal communication, proficiency in MS Office, analytical skills, and organization.

 Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides assistance in the implementation of the project by setting up experiments and trials.
  • Oversees laboratory experiments, analyzes and interprets results, co-writes manuscripts, prepares posters and/or presentations for conferences
  • Conceptualizes, calculates, and designs equipment using technical software
  • Assists the development officer in technical reports and manuscript writing
  • Helps ensure the management of the project proceedings in a professional and orderly manner
  • Prepares and submit quarterly project technical report. 
  • Performs necessary tasks assigned by the Project Leader
