Qualifications:

• Preferably a licensed Chem Tech, and/or a holder of other technical license,  and/or BS Engineering or BS Engineering Technology or related natural science degree holder.

His/Her primary function is to conduct all validation activities of optimized formulations, ensure the proper maintenance of laboratory equipment and instruments, and make certain that all equipment is kept in good working condition. He/She shall assist the researchers in laboratory setup and reagent preparation, as well as in the collection and preparation of agro-industrial waste materials. He/She will also be responsible for setting up and conducting validation experiments for the optimized formulations.

 Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assumes responsibility for conducting experiments for the validation of optimized formulations under the direct supervision of the Lead Research Assistant (RA).
• Ensures that the laboratory work area and equipment are kept clean, organized, and in proper working condition at all times.
• Provides support in administrative and clerical tasks related to the research project, including office-to-office document submission, coordination, and follow-ups.
• Takes charge of the inventory management of laboratory materials, supplies, and equipment.
• Assists in the preparation of financial reports and other required documents for project submission and compliance.
• Monitors and maintains laboratory safety, order, and compliance with established protocols.
• Performs and supports other tasks and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Project Leader.
